Strengthening Partnerships for Inclusive Finance and Entrepreneurial Growth in Rwanda
The Imanzi Business Institute (IBI) had the great honor of welcoming a high-level delegation representing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Luxembourg and ADA Microfinance. This visit marked another milestone in the continued collaboration between IBI, Luxembourg’s development partners, and the Private Sector Federation of Rwanda, all working together to build a stronger, more inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The session opened with remarks from the IBI Chairman, who warmly welcomed the visiting partners and expressed appreciation for the enduring support of Luxembourg in fostering financial inclusion and business development across Rwanda.
He highlighted how this partnership has enabled IBI to implement impactful programs such as the Investment Readiness and Inclusive Finance Training for Agri-MSMEs, empowering hundreds of entrepreneurs with practical business, financial, and digital skills.

Following the Chairman’s remarks, the Executive Director of IBI, Mr. Deus KAYITAKIRWA, presented an overview of IBI’s background and mission as an institution under PSF Rwanda. He shared insights into IBI’s journey in strengthening Rwanda’s business ecosystem through capacity-building programs, mentorship, and collaboration with development partners.

The presentation emphasized how joint efforts with ADA Microfinance and Cooperation Luxembourg have created a real impact, equipping Agri-MSMEs with the tools to become investment-ready, financially literate, and digitally connected.
ED also expressed IBI’s commitment to continue improving its programs and to expand collaboration for greater reach, sustainability, and innovation.
The visit provided an excellent opportunity for open dialogue between the delegation, IBI team members, and program beneficiaries.
During the networking session, participants exchanged experiences on the challenges and achievements in supporting small and medium enterprises. The guests commended IBI’s dedication and professionalism in implementing inclusive finance projects that directly benefit local entrepreneurs.

To conclude the visit, the IBI team presented symbolic gifts to the guests as a gesture of gratitude and friendship. The moment reflected the spirit of partnership and mutual respect that continues to strengthen the relationship between Rwanda and Luxembourg.
